Welcome to Growing Pains part 2!

Part 1 Introduced what growing pains really are, Patience, Keeping up with the Joneses and, The friends you keep. If you haven't read Part 1 definitely go read that and then come back and read part 2. SO, on part 2 we are gonna discuss a little bit about Manifestation, The time you spend on Social Media, Affirmations and, how these all tie together.
First up is Manifestation. There's really a lot of talk on this, I'm starting to see that more and more people are getting into it - myself included-. I was late on this train but, i'm not really brand new to it, i've always knew a little bit about it but, I never really knew how to do it correctly, and the benefits of it honestly. To manifest is to say something is there before it actually is - like claiming you have something in advance. You have to have strong feelings about that one thing you want and, it will manifest for you but you have to believe it will.I know it sounds so corny but it's true! I've heard some say that Manifesting is like saying a form short prayer.
I wouldn't say that I particularly "agree" with that but, that part is up to you. You don't have to be religious to partake in manifesting but, you do have to have a positive mindset for this to work for you. Because you can't say that you want to manifest something and then, just say it once and be done with it and think that it's gonna work, because that's not how it works.
Honestly it's a mindset thing, meaning that, you know what you want and, you know you gotta put in some work to get it and for you to be on one accord with yourself you gotta train your mindset to be able to prepare for this greatness that you want. It's as small as taking some time out of your day - literally like, 10 minutes- and remind yourself of what you want. So, this is how you do it, there's 5 short steps.
First Step, is take a notebook, piece of paper, sticky note or printer paper lol whatever you wanna use and think about what it is that you want to manifest. When your thinking about what it is that you wanna manifest, think about something that you really want for yourself,this is for YOU! AND YOU ONLY! this is something that your allowed to be selfish about, something that's gonna make you happy.
Step two. Step two, is very important! I need you to BELIEVE THAT IT'S POSSIBLE FOR YOU! believing is seeing! y'all. If you believe that it's gonna happen, then the vision becomes very clear and very real for you. Okay so next is, Step three, think about obtaining what you actually want. This is the part where you create the vision of how your gonna be when you receive what you've manifested. What are you gonna do when you get it?, how are you gonna act?, how are you going to feel? Step four, is to take 10 to 15 minutes a day and think about it as if you've already gotten it.
Okay so, Look back at your notebook or paper and look at and remind yourself of the things it is you want- remember this is something for you-, know that it's very possible for you, believe that it is, create the visual for yourself of you actually having it in physical form, you actually having it, touching it, seeing it, being there, it's actually here. While on this journey of you getting it, take the time to remind yourself of these things, remind yourself of where your going with this, why you actually wanted it in the first place and how close you are to getting it! Doing this will help you to stay focused on your main goal, it will help you to work harder towards getting it, help you to stay in your lane and,remain happy because you see how hard your working and this will help you to block out the people who don't really understand where you're going and don't wanna understand why you're doing it, you don't need that negative energy.
The whole goal is for you to make your wishes and dreams into a reality for you.

SIDE NOTE:
Keep all this shit to yourself! don't tell nobody what your next move is, what your saving up to get, or have much money you really have. For this to efficiently work, you have to keep this to yourself. The problem with telling others what your gonna do is that they think they have the right to tell you their opinion on what you want, try to guide you wrong or give you advice on something they know nothing about, somewhere they've never been, something they've never had before and most the time they have something negative to say with their end goal being don't do it, don't go there, don't get this or that.
Like how can sit here and tell me this but you've never done it, seen it, had it, been there, or anything close to it. You cannot give me advice or guide me 'correctly' if don't have that experience to vouch for it. your not about to sit here and tell me that what I want for myself isn't achievable based on you and what you think. like no! issa dub,that's super dead. The only thing you HAVE to do is pop up on the scene like you that bitch or you that nigga. period. Your supposed to let them see that all that time you were "acting different" you were really focusing on you and manifesting what you want and now you got all that ish! This time you take for yourself to get your shit together should be taken very seriously, you can achieve hella shit in this time.
Even if it's as short as two weeks, that could be the start of something beautiful. You got the ball rolling on this new project or your two steps closer to manifesting something you've been wanting for a while. When your down or at your lowest, is when you really start to realize what you really want and start to grind for that shit hard as hell, and when the ball starts to roll, keep that same energy, because all that hard work your doing will pay the fuck off, you could have new connections, end up in a new location, have your fingers touch that new money and ain't no feeling better than that new money!!! The key to all that is remaining humble tho, you will fuck yourself up so fast thinking you can pop off all the time and that it don't matter now cuz you got it but y'all, the universe or God (whomever you believe in) will snatch that shit fast and quick in a hurry.
Next up is AFFIRMATIONS. I define Affirmations as, short phrases or words that you say to yourself, for yourself to let yourself know wassup, to remind yourself of who you really are and just things that will uplift your mood and make you happy. Your supposed to say these things daily, it takes less than 5 minutes and it's easier than easy okay, so I don't wanna hear no excuses. period.
It obviously can be whatever you like it be and, can be as long as you want it be. It could say something like. " I am beautiful, I am smart, I am wealthy, I will not settle, there's nothing wrong with wanting better for myself." Just little words or phrases like that. I think Affirmations are beautiful and they confirm what you already know about yourself. Affirmations have many benefits, these words you say to yourself can be literally life changing for you. There are affirmations for women, men, of course powerful ones, ones that you can say daily, ones for work, for anxiety, for success, for stress, for love, to change your mindset, self-esteem, happiness, healing, health, inspiration.
Literally for anything you can imagine. Now you have options when it comes to this, you can simply make a list of your own affirmations, that you wanna say to yourself daily or, you can look up some affirmations, to use as inspiration for your own or use ones that you believe would match you and you can simply, read through some of them and whichever ones you believe fit you, screenshot them, write them down, save them and then take this next step. When you get your affirmations , I want you to look at yourself in the mirror, I mean really look at yourself and, say these words to yourself in confidence!!! daily!!! It will make a huge change in your life which I believe you'll truly love.
Now staying consistent with this is important, I want you to say those words to yourself when your feeling happy, when your mad, sad, upset or even when your just feeling very 'meh'. I'm telling you now, you'll hop up out of that attitude you got and will be smiling with the sun.
Last, but not least we have The time you spend on Social Media. You have Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Tumblr, Pinterest and there's a few more that people use but these are the main ones that most people use. Social Media is such a distraction, you get one there to check a notification and you end up scrolling for 30 minutes, totally forgetting what you even got on there for and, you forgot what you're really supposed to be doing in the first place. S.M. has a lot of positives and negatives to it, it can bring a lot of awareness to a situation, make a person more famous than they need to be, connect you with people you never thought you would know or meet on your own, meet new people, some people find love on there and honestly, some people get bullied and torn town it can be a rough place sometimes, a lot of people feel like they're competing over stupid stuff like follower count, and all that other jazz. This is what makes some people feel like it's a toxic place, seriously, and after a while it gets tiring, makes you wanna seriously take a break from it.
The time you spend on S.M. can be either really inspiring and motivating, or can make you mad and remind you of the problems you have and what your going through. The problem is that in your time of growth, your figuring out what's best for you, doing more to help yourself get in a better position than what you're in. You're tryna get back on your shit, get a new job, find some new money,get into some new things you've never done before, get a new car, get an apartment/house/condo. You're in the middle of leveling up and it always seems like it's somebody on there to remind you of that, someone who always seems to be getting theirs, and you keep wondering where's yours at? That creates frustration towards yourself and your situation, it makes you feel like you ain't doing nothing or enough , it honestly puts you in a bad mood.
Can make you think about how you even got into that position in the first place and, that's so nerve wracking!! It's almost like, I came on here to get away from my thoughts and problems and here I am getting reminded of them. But, here's an alternative, If your very serious about you leveling up to change your situation and wanting more for yourself, then stay away from Social Media. Delete the app off your phone (you don't have to delete your account..) or, if you have more self control then just turn off your notifications, S.M. ain't going nowhere, you're not gonna miss anything and honestly you could be spending your time elsewhere, LIKE, reading a book, praying and doing your devotions ( if your religious), studying for something, Doing things that help you get one step closer to your goals, MINDING YOUR BUSINESS.
I promise you, that time you take to replace social media with something better, will make you feel good, make you feel like your doing something other than wasting time. I feel like it's a mind cleanser. After not being on S.M. for so long it will make you realize how much time you really spend on their honesty and how it clog your brain with so much extra stuff and clearly help you to see that you could be spending your time doing other things.
To close on Growing pains -part 1 and 2- I chose these topics of Patience, Keeping up with the Joneses, The friends you keep,Manifestation, Affirmations and, Time spent on social media. I felt like all of these things were important and came together like a package. Growing Pains is really like you finding yourself in a position that you really don't like and now you have to make important decisions that help you to get your shit together, help you get back on your feet and keep the ball rolling. It's about choosing you, and loving that you chose you and made decisions that made you happy. Each of those topics I feel can relate to that. Patience, you have to realize that your situation will not happen overnight and that it does take time. Keeping up with the Joneses, tryna keep up with everybody and what they got ain't for you, you don't have to do what everybody else does, be on ya own wave.
The friends you keep, watch the company you keep, not everybody is on your side, you don't need to shaky ass friends while you're tryna get your shit together,surround yourself with people who truly are a reflection of you. Manifestation, You know what you want, you gotta work for it and believe that it's possible for you, make this selfish decision about what you want for you!. Affirmations, telling yourself things that are true and make you feel good, make you feel good in this rough time you're going through. (ex. you got it!, that you can do it, you're smart and you're wealthy) and lastly, time spent on social media. switching the time you spend scrolling on social media and replacing that with reading a book, can help keep a clear mind and stay stress free.
You will soon find yourself in a new light, you've shed the 'old you' for someone whom is altogether a whole package, and you don't settle for anything less, you don't take no shit, don't let nobody fuck you over, don't let nobody talk to you any type of way, you mentally have a clear mind, but are open to new things, open to adventure, new money and new food, you simply are the shit!! but you are humble, because you knew what it took for you to get there you also know that, it's temporary while here on earth and you know that it can be taken away faster than you got it so you are forever grateful and thankful for where you are now in life. You chose you in life over everything else and look where it got you!!
